YOU HEREBY WAIVE THIS SECTION OF THE CALIFORNIA CIVIL CODE. YOU HEREBY WAIVE ANY SIMILAR PROVISION IN LAW, REGULATION, OR CODE THAT HAS THE SAME INTENT OR EFFECT AS THE AFOREMENTIONED RELEASE. YOUR ABILITY TO USE OUR SITE IS CONTINGENT ON YOUR AGREEMENT WITH THIS AND ALL OTHER SECTIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT. 16. Choice of Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws in force in the state of California. The offer and acceptance of this contract is deemed to have occurred in the state of California.

17. Forum of Dispute

In the event of any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement, or a breach thereof, the parties hereto shall first attempt to settle the dispute by mediation, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Mediation Procedures. If settlement is not reached within sixty days after service of a written demand for mediation, any unresolved controversy shall be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association. Our non-enforcement of any particular provision or provisions of this Agreement or the any applicable law should not be construed as our waiver of the right to enforce that same provision under the same or different circumstances at any time in the future.

20. Termination and Cancellation

We may terminate or suspend service, without notice, though we will strive to provide a timely explanation in most cases. If you wish to terminate this Agreement, you are solely responsible for following proper termination procedures. Simply stop using our Site. Cancellation may result in the immediate deletion of any Content that you have submitted to CollegesLike.
